Sub-Department of Mining Activities
Under the authority of a Deputy Director, Sub-Directorate of Mining Activities is in charge of:
– Design and implementation of development policy of mineral resources;
– The development of the plan of mineral resources;
– The development of measures for the optimal exploitation of mineral deposits
– The development of promotion of national mineral potential;
– Participation in the collection of statistical data on mineral production;
– The support and advice and advocacy mine operators;
– The administrative supervision and technical control of mining activities;
– Monitoring of agreements and conventions in the mining sector, in conjunction with the authorities concerned;
– The investigation of cases and preparation of documents relating to marketing authorizations for mineral water, spring water and thermo-mineral waters, in conjunction with the authorities concerned;
– Monitoring the exploitation of mineral water, spring water and thermo-mineral waters;
– Monitoring of the semi-industrial and industrial processing and marketing of minerals;
– Treatment records relating to explosive and detonating substances in conjunction with the authorities concerned;
– Participation in the determination of the basis for Mining taxation;
– Monitoring of national and international institutions of mining development.
It includes:
– Tracking Careers, Explosives Substances and detonating Service ;
– Monitoring of Mining Service ;
– Monitoring Mineral Water, Water Source and Thermo-Mineral Water Service;
– Craft and Small Mining Mine Service .
Tracking Explosive Substances and detonating Service
Under the authority of a Head of Service, Service Tracking Explosive Substances and detonating shall:
– Administrative and technical supervision of operations,
– Transportation and marketing of quarry substances;
– The processing of applications for authorization and preparation of documents relating to the movement of explosives and detonating substances;
– The processing of applications for authorization and preparation of documents relating to the exploitation of deposits of explosive substances;
movement control of explosive and detonating substances;
– The advisory support and sensitization of companies operating quarry substances;
– Participation in the collection of statistical data on explosives and detonating substances
– Monitoring of controls deposits and detonating explosive substances.
It includes also the Head of Service, two (02) Engineering Studies.
Mining Monitoring Service
Under the authority of a Head of Department, the Department of Monitoring Mining is responsible for:
– The processing of applications for authorization and preparation of documents relating to the marketing of mineral substances;
– administrative and technical operation, transportation monitoring,
– Processing and marketing of mineral substances;
– Participation in the collection of statistical data on the production, use and marketing of minerals,
– The implementation of measures for the optimal exploitation of mineral deposits.
It includes in addition to the Head of Service, two (02) Studies Engineers
The Spring Water and Water Thermo-Mineral Service
Under the authority of a Service Head, the Service of spring Water and Thermo-Mineral Water is in charge of:
– The processing of applications for authorization and preparation of documents relating to the transportation and marketing of mineral water, spring water and thermo-mineral waters;
– Administrative and technical production, transportation and marketing of mineral water, spring water and thermal mineral water monitoring;
– Participation in the collection of statistical data on the production, use and marketing of mineral water, spring water and thermo-mineral waters;
– The implementation of measures for the optimal use of, s deposits of mineral water, spring water and thermal mineral waters
– The advisory support and awareness operators spring waters, mineral water and thermal mineral waters.
It includes in addition to the Head of Service, two (02) Studies Engineers.
Mining Crafts and Small-scale Mines Service
Under the authority of a Service Head, the Service of Artisanal Mining and Small-scale Mines is in charge of:
– Monitoring of actions and operations related to artisanal mining and small-scale mining permits;
– Monitoring and assessing areas of artisanal mining and small-scale mining;
– Administrative and technical overseeing artisanal mining and small-scale mining;
– Monitoring the activities of production, transportation and marketing of substances in artisanal mining and small-scale mining;
– Participation in monitoring the activities of small-scale processing of mineral products from artisanal mining and small-scale mining.
It includes in addition to the Service Head, two (02) Studies Engineers.
